To have tons of dental problems my entire life has just not been pleasant-and I'm only 27. This is my first time using the WaterPik, and I think I've found the answer to my prayers. That is a big mistake; this does not replace flossing. I use this device 4 times per day, and I used to think it was getting my teeth spotlessly clean and there was no need to floss. Then one day I bought a scaler tool (the tool dentists use). After using the WaterPik, I scraped my teeth and still got a LOT of plaque inbetween teeth and near the gumline. When I repeated the same exercise 2 weeks later but using floss instead of the Pik, the scaler removed less plaque. Reviewed by 407 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 221-230 Pros

Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: This is not my first WaterPik product and I have always been satisfied with each one. The only problem I have had is with the rechargable ones and they only seem to last about six months. Pros

Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: I bought one for my parents and one for me! The built in tip-storage compartment on the lid is great. The unit is not too loud and you can adjust the water pressure easily. I like the 'pause' button on the handle. It really gets stuff that is missed by just brushing. Works well with oral rinse as well. Highly recommend this unit, it is worth the few extra dollars. Pros

Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: Works great. I don't like using lid to hold attachments. Lid should be simple and easily removable to fill the water tank. Most attachments will be seldom used. Pros

Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: very good product. I'm a international (Asian) student. Dentist told me asian's gums are not good as americans. he suggested me to go to the dentist frequently. But the insurance doesn't cover dental care in my school. SO it is very useful and much cheaper than going to dentist. Pros

Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: This product has been arround for over 40 years and it gets rid of particles between the teeth. I have been using this product for over 40 years and now I make my children use it. Pros

Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: My mouth feels very clean after using the Pic, and it leaves the gums feeling stimulated, which is important after having periodontal surgery. I use this before and after brushing as I have lots of nooks and crannies in my mouth due to crowns, many implants and some open spaces between the teeth. I use this after meals and after snacks. Love the results! Pros

Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: Do your usual brush and floss routine and then use this. You might be surprised at what comes out afterwards the first time you use it (even at the low pressure setting). You can mix a little bit of mouthwash or other oral anti septic with water to get a really clean feel under the gums. In winter months, make sure you use warm water. I use a setting of up to 4 with the regular tip. I'm not sure that it's necessary to dial up the the pressure as high as some people say (9)? if you use it routinely. I'm afraid a high setting might actually prompt your gums to recede like routine hard brushing might. I didn't find the pik pocket tip to be that useful and maybe it does require the higher settings. Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: Used a WaterPik for years. When we moved I left mine behind. Missed it and just purchased the new one, which is much of an improvement. Easy to use and smaller footprint so it can be left on counter. Wouldn't ever be without one again.
