That is a big mistake; this does not replace flossing. I use this device 4 times per day, and I used to think it was getting my teeth spotlessly clean and there was no need to floss. Then one day I bought a scaler tool (the tool dentists use). After using the WaterPik, I scraped my teeth and still got a LOT of plaque inbetween teeth and near the gumline. Work great at getting up under gum line to remove any food particles that get lodged up there. Comes with several attahments to clean tongue all the way to cleaning under gum line. Has 10 pressure settings from very mild to nice and strong. The only issue I have with it is its a little noisy during operation. The pump motor makes a lot of undue noise. Pros

For a complete cleanup, I end up refilling the reservoir 3 times. Good if you plan to use it for a quick mouth wash, but get one with a larger reservoir if you like to take your time to floss in between every tooth. Pros

Once I got this, I made it a part of my routine to floss at least once a day. It takes less than 2-3 mins to floss. It was little messy when I started but then now I am able to do it without much mess. I just try to hold the water in my mouth without allowing it to drip all over as it sprays in my mouth. I try to pause once a while, when my mouth is full of water and then spit out the water. That way there is no mess at all. Pros
