I was surprised by the size of the scale when I first opened the box. It was huge compared to most scales I've used before and bigger than I'd like. I didn't really pay much attention to the dimensions before I bought it so it takes up more floor space than I'd planned. (I thought there was a standard scale size ... guess not) Also I was disappointed by the quality. The glass is solid which is great but the chrome looking pieces are hollow. Those pieces make the scale seem somehow awkward and cheap. It is not a bad product though. It is very easy to set up and simple to use and the numbers are nice and big. Right now I'm debating whether or not to keep it.
