This is the best toothpaste I ever used. I had allergic reaction for most of toothpastes on the market (bleeding and inflamed gums and tongue). When I started use this one all my problems gone. I like the salty taste and the impression that my teeth are so clean and smooth. I am using Weleda Salt Toothpaste more then two years and I am not planning to change for any other.

It seems weird to write "amazing" when talking about a toothpaste, but I have to for this product. After decades of never being quite satisfied with the any of the dozens of toothpastes I've tried, this one stands out in a class by itself.

It actually feels good when using it. My gums tingle with a happy tingle, and my teeth feel extra smooth and plaque-free when I'm done. The salty taste is a clean taste, and reminds me of the ocean, of course, although a whole lot cleaner in this case.:-)

No other toothpaste makes my entire mouth and teeth feel as good as Weleda Salt. I hope they'll keep making it forever!

I use this product every day, but I'm thinking to use it every other day since my feet started to get swollen and I think is because of the salt in the toothpaste ( I don't use that much salt in my every day diet)

this is quite possibly the worst tasting toothpaste i have ever encountered. try the weleda plant gel for an all natural, more palatable flavor -- it's much better in my opinion. it gets two stars because it does clean your teeth, and it doesn't have all sorts of yucky stuff in it.

The taste is not typical toothpaste taste, but it is not bad. It is worth the different taste for the health benefits. I wish it wasn't so expensive. Drugstore.com could come down a little bit on the price and no one would complain.

When I was pregnant my gums became very tender, easily irritated and would bleed every time I brushed or flossed. Eating saltine crackers would even tear up my mouth. And being pregnant and incredibly nauseous, I was eating a lot of crackers. My gums were so torn up, my dental hygientist actually accused me of not brushing and flossing! My dentist suggested I mouthwash with warm salt water. I hate mouthwash, so I decided to try this toothpaste instead. My teeth are squeeky clean after brushing, the bleeding stopped and my gums returned back to the healthy pink color they are supposed to be instead of the irritated red color they were. The salty taste is a little odd, but isn't bad and it goes away very quickly. I also like that the toothpaste is all natural. The only thing I don't like is the metal tube, if it gets bent or squished a lot it becomes weak and will break open.
