I have been prescribed shots, pills, everything. I left work today with a killer migraine. Pressure on my temples & bridge of my nose, soreness in my neck, shooting pain in my right eye. I got home, closed the blackout curtains, took two Tylenol's (doctor made me stop taking Excedrin migraine and aspirin in general), placed this patch on my head and went to sleep for 2 hours. Best Uses Comments about WellPatch Migraine, Cooling Headache Patches Light Scented with Menthol & Lavender Oil: The strip will only adhere for 20 minutes tops and when it is attached, it begins to pull away from the skin around the edges immediately. I only felt a cooling sensation when the strip would slip off and was exposed to the air for a few moments, once I reattached it, it felt cool for a few moments.

This relieves the headache while some other medicine takes hold. Also, used it when face was flushed and heated for no specific reason. This patch cooled the face down. It is wonderful.

The first problem I ran into was that it was too big to put on my forehead. I have a normal sized head and forehead and the edges of the patch would sit in my hair or I would have to lower it and it would be on my eye brows. Ok, no problem, I used it on the back of my neck. I ended up giving myself a neck ache trying not to move my neck too much because the patch didn't stick well enough to allow much movement. It did help with my migraine, so I will give it that and I enjoyed the relaxing smell. The next time I use one, I will make sure I am laying around for the day and I do not have to do a lot of moving around.

With a true migrain, it is soothing while prescription migraine medication has time to begin working. The only down-side to these patches is that they don't always "stick" that well to my forehead.

Even during the day if I have a bad migraine I can put it on and am able to move around. Plus it stays cold.

Comments about WellPatch Migraine, Cooling Headache Patches Light Scented with Menthol & Lavender Oil: It works perfect for me. I use it when I get severe migraines probably twice a month. The patch has a thick layer of a very cold gel that attaches easily to the forehead (according to the instruction, it can also be used on the neck). It stays put, in fact I usually go to sleep with it. The gel does not leak or detach from the patch - when you want to remove the patch, you just pull it off and the gel pulls off with it. No trace on the skin, you don't even need to wash your face after using the patch. The cooling effect helps me. The headache does not exactly disappear, but I don't feel pain anymore, and I can sleep or even work. I am happy with this product.
