Comments about Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eyeshadow Set, Petal Pusher 736, .3 oz:

These are really good eye shadows. They not too powdery at all (although I always pat off excess after dipping in and before applying) and they have really nice pigmentation. I'm more in love with the deeper shades although I've used the lighter (brow-bone ones) one as highlight. The one color I love and that I would even use as an everyday color is the coppery eyelid shade (second one down on the right, you can see the name slightly faded in the picture). It's absolutely gorgeous and it's the one I reach for the most when using this palette.

They all have a shimmery or satin finish to them (or sparkles in them, but it's not really glitter) so I tend not to use them so often for everyday makeup, mostly for going out. The darker colors blend well. They blend even better than other drugstore eye shadows that I've bought. This palette is known as being a purple palette, but there are only two true purple colors. The crease color on the left side is a shimmery dull deep violet color. The eyelid color also on the left is a more satiny lilac color.

The only real downside to them is the packaging, which feels cheap and is somewhat hard to open, but for the price and the amount of shadows you get, you really can't complain about that. As for staying power, I always use a good eye shadow primer before any putting on any eye look, I tend to apply lid colors using elf's mist and set on the brushes, and I also use UD's setting spray or Nyx's matte setting spray after doing all my makeup, so for me the shadows stay on for hours without any fading or creasing at all.

For years I was skeptical about using these shades to bring out green eyes. I had stuck to browns and greens. But, I gave these a try and was amazed at how they bring out my deep-set green eyes! I will never be without these shades again.

Comments about Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eyeshadow Set, Petal Pusher 736, .3 oz:

I LOVE Petal Pusher! I'm purchasing another because I'm totally out of the 2nd one down on the left (light purple) and almost out of the bottom left color (a gorgeous sparkly purple). The colors when applied aren't really what they look like on the palette. I was surprised that I actually love the bottom left color. It looks blue and very dark, it's actually a GORGEOUS shade of deep royal purple, with LOTS of glitter. The glitter DOES get all over the place when you apply it, so just make sure you know that!!! But I like sparkle, so that's OK with me. I usually wear that on my lids with black eyeliner and the light purple on my brow. I'll highlight a little with the top right pink color sometimes too. The top left color is almost white. You have to apply most of these colors a bit heavily to get enough pigment and you HAVE to use some sort of a base or primer otherwise it really doesn't go on at all. But because it's Wet N Wild, you can apply it wet and it's got some CRAZY color! It's VERY pigmented when it goes on wet! (and I think you can do that without a base) So it's pretty versatile for how much color you want. The 2nd color down on the right is very pretty, it's kind of a dusty rose/gold color that goes really well with browns and pinks. It's not as dark as it looks in the photo at all. It's also very sparkly! The bottom 2 on the right I never use because they are WAY too dark. But they might work if you want to try something smokey. I'm SO glad this palette is still available so I can get some more!

Comments about Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eyeshadow Set, Petal Pusher 736, .3 oz:

I owned two of the W&W trios: Silent Treatment (I reached pan on the lilac/taupe shadow)and Walking on Eggshells. This is the first 8 pan palette I picked up while waiting for a prescription. I need some purples in my collection and I always wondered why W&W never have a trio of purples in their lineup!

These shadows are pigmented and buttery except for the ones on the bottom (the blueish sparkly shadow which is slightly gritty and sheer when on eyes and the darkish greeny one, looks black with sparkles) Three are matte which I used more often, great for green/hazel eyes.

Yes, it is a cheaply made compact case. I would not travel with this cause this would completely break/shatter the shadows. That is the reason I can't give this five stars. For this price I will pick this up again for a back-up!

Comments about Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eyeshadow Set, Petal Pusher 736, .3 oz:

I bought one of these at another store last month on a whim because I liked the colors in it. I was reticent to buy it because it was so cheap, but it turns out I like it as much or better than more expensive eye shadows and creams that I have bought in the past. The colors are great for my eyes (green) and I love them. I only use maybe 3 or 4 of the middle colors so far, but I would use the dramatic colors (dark gray or light purple) if going out at night.

Comments about Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eyeshadow Set, Petal Pusher 736, .3 oz:

I don't normally rate products, and I seldom buy drugstore cosmetics, except for lipsticks. Usually, I go with higher end or professional makeup. I saw a video on youtube from a trusted makeup junkie and she raved about WNW eyeshadows. I've known about the brand since high school, and didn't buy it even then. One day, at a drugstore, I saw the buy 1 get 2 at 50%. Since they were only like[$], I went for it planning to waste my [$] for some product testing. They had some really vibrant colors. My experience with drugstore eye shadows in the past have been horrible. The texture reminds me of chalk, flakes, will not blend, takes forever to build color and it looks just wrong. I was shocked, if not had a downright heartstopping moment when I got this home and tested out the WNW shadows. They were amazing. They are soft, blendable, the colors in the palette is the same as on your eyes. The colors REALLY pack on, incredibly pigmented, you never waste time building the color. You actually have to use a lighter hand to apply this or you'll pick up too much product. I used it with a primer, and my shadow did not crease, flake or need a touch up after a 14 hour day. To be really honest, I prefer this over my MAC shadows. This rivals NYX except the colors are better and it's a lot cheaper. My favorite is Walking on Eggshells, 380B - there's a color in there that looks like Sroom from MAC. Just gorgeous. I also got several of their other palettes. Colors, colors, colors. Going forward, this will be my everyday shadow. All in all this is a great product. The only negative thing I can say is that the packaging is hideous and the shadows are not transportable - they do break bc they are soft. But for the price, I plan to keep a second set at my desk at work.

Comments about Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eyeshadow Set, Petal Pusher 736, .3 oz:

I absolutely love these palettes! They are easy to apply and they do not crease. I just make sure to use a primer because I want them to last all day. Have not tried the shadows without primer so I do not know if they crease at that point. Overall, I will be buying more of these palettes before they are all gone!
