These pencils are awesome for brows! I mainly use them to fill in a couple of sparse spots that are still trying to grow back after a salon visit gone horribly wrong. I was hesitant to buy a regular pencil (instead of a retractable one), but these glide on effortlessly with almost no pressure. If I take my time, I don't get any waxy chunks or big glops of product on my eyebrows, just soft, natural looking, thicker-than-normal hair. I own 3 different colors now, and sadly, only the taupe pencil matches my natural eyebrow color. I was actually really surprised by that, because I was expecting taupe to be too light or too orange-blond for me. Even though my hair is naturally dark brown, the Dark Brown pencil and Mink Brown pencil both make me look like something from the Adams Family. So, I picked up another pencil in taupe, and it matches my eyebrows EXACTLY. As if I couldn't be any happier with the product, it's dirt cheap (less than one dollar per pencil). I came back to order 2 more as back-ups. I only wish that Wet n Wild made a miniature version that I could keep in my purse, because the pencils are a little too long even for my makeup bag.

I use to make my blonde eyebrows match a little better with my dyed brown hair.

So far it's the best color I've found, but it's kind of waxy.

It's super easy to use, and I like to grab it when I'm in a rush, but I think a powder, or even other brands of pencils, actually apply better.

Very good for the price.

I found this to be a bit lighter in color than I thought it would be. But it goes on fine and stays fairly well.

I use it as an eyebrow pencil. #648 is just the right color for warm honey blonde hair.

hands down this is the best pencil. just soft enough to make application super smooth. great taupe color. i saw that one reviewer said it was charcoal color. she must have received the wrong color. this is definitely a perfectly cool-toned taupe.
it's super long. and a great price. stock up!

Taupe pencil is soft and doesn't stay sharp. Hard to sharpen without wasting pencil. I keep my pencil in the freezer and sharpen it just before I use it. Anyone have any other ideas on sharpening pencil?

I thought I would try this product because I could not find the regular pencil I use which is Max Factor Eyebrow/Eyeliner Pencil - Color: Tres Taupe which I have been usuing for ove 20 years. This product is no comparison and it is more of a charcoal color then Taupe.

I Have Always Used This Eyebrow Pencil. Can Also Be Used As An EyeLiner Too. Never Use Anything Else! The Taupe Color Is Perfect. I Use It for My Eyebrows, and Sometimes will Use One for An Eyeliner. For people that actually have eyebrows something as simple as an eyebrow pencil may not seem like a big deal BUT if you are like me and have sparse and spotty eyebrows it is a very important item. I love this item. Difficult to find here locally and was very happy to find at Drugstore.com. I had previously bought two different "light brown" pencils which actually turned out to be LIGHT ORANGE from two different big name beauty retailers. This is the PERFECT color for anyone that has a gray/white/ash blond hair color. Great product and great service from Drugstore.com.
