This 3-letter learning game was created for young players who are just discovering the wonder of forming letters into words, and learning their basic sight words. The game can be played either competitively or cooperatively, depending on the ages and reading levels of the players. In the Competitive Game, players race to form three-letter words quicker than their opponents. In the Cooperative Game, parents and kids combine their forces to spell as many three-letter words as they can. Both games have simple steps to play: scramble the letters and load the GNU's stand, slide the stand forward to cover the letters, then slide the stand back to play the game.
Players combine the letters shown and a Word Card to spell out 3-letter words. Playing What's GNU will help build many learning and social skills, including simple spelling, vocabulary, sight word recognition, concentration, and social interaction.
Game comes with 72 Letter Tiles, GNU's Stand, 36 Word Cards, and Game Instructions. For 2 - 6 Players, Ages 5 - 8.
