Whink instantly removed years of rust stain buildup in my laundry sink. I had tried numerous other products including scouring powder and powdered rust removers that did not help.
This product is excellent for removing rust, etc., from my toilets. I've used this product for years and I plan to continue using it. I recommend this product to anyone that has tough spots to get rid of in their toilets. Just squirt on and instant disappearance. I love this product.
I have to admit that I have only used it on my toilets, but I'm positive it would do a great job anywhere there was rust to be removed.
We have a well as the source of our water. The iron content is very high where we live. I have used this product in the dishwasher to remove iron stains as well as the clothes washer, toilet, and tub. When washing clothes, sheets, etc, rust can be rubbed from the washer tub to the fabrics. I just put the fabric in the sink, put in water to cover it and about a tablespoon of Whink Rust Remover then let it sit. In a few minutes the rust stain is gone and I put the item back in the wash to get all the chemical out of the fabric. Because of the iron in our water, our house has iron stains on the foundation and sidewalk. (It would be on the brick as well, but they are dark redish brown) I have removed rust stains on the sidewalk and foundation with this product. White tee shirts grab rust and this removes it.
