I already use some of these and I find them very helpful. I tend to use them for like items in different colors, like camis, or blouses, and similar. I don't actually hook the whole thing back up on the rod to put in a hanger or to remove clothes. I find I do this with the hanger still hanging down so I don't have to push clothes over out of the way. My daughter and I have had to share all previous sets, so I'm looking forward to a new package.
I bought these a couple of years ago and I find them to be very helpful! Perhaps if you were hanging really heavy items on them, they might not be as effective, but I've used them for hanging tshirt type tops, camis, (not lingerie type) and capris and I've had no problems whatsoever with them. They definitely save space in the closet. You don't even have to put them up on the rod before you fill them. They can just hang down and you just put the hanger through the hole.
I should have known better than to think that this would actually alleviate my closet space problem, but I was desperate. These do not save any space at all, except on the hanging bar. If anything, they give you LESS closet space. Don't waste your money.
It seemed like a good idea. Makes it more of a process to put clothes away. Doesn't really save space. It does however dangle my clothes at just the right height for my cat to have a whole mess of new toys. And yes if she gets a good enough grip to pull the hangers do break. I think the cat likes them more than I do.
