I was terrified to self-tan, but this product was wonderful. I actually tried it on my face, and it worked. It didn't clog my pores and, if possible, made my skin even prettier. I let it fade the first time and it didn't streak or get splotchy. It seriously is one of the best tanning products I have ever found.

I have pale skin with warm undertones, and for years I've tried countless sunless tanning products in an attempt to find one that didn't make me look like an Oompa-Loompa. I was beginning to think that I'd never find a sunless tanner that worked for me...and then I tried Xen Tan.

Xen Tan gives me a beautiful, even, natural-looking tan with olive undertones -- no orange! The vanilla scent is a pleasant change from the usual nasty self-tanner odor, and this product doesn't stain clothes or towels (even while developing). I apply it about once every 5 days to maintain a nice golden color.

Some tips: I exfoliate thoroughly before applying the product, then apply lotion to the tops of my feet, ankles, knees, elbows, and backs of my hands. Then I use an applicator mitt to apply the sunless tanner in circular motions.

So for someone with skin as pale as mine, there have always been two options for getting that sun-kissed look: get sunburned and risk skin damage in the hopes that it will turn into a tan or use fake, orangey tanner. Until now! Xen Tan is amazing. As some others have mentioned, it has an olive color base which a) makes it very easy to apply without missing a spot and b) makes it very natural looking. I've been getting compliments on my "tan" since I started using Xen Tan about a month ago. One other great thing is that there's no need to apply every day -- I've found that it lasts for about 3-4 days before I need to reapply. So yes, it may be a bit more expensive than others, but that's because it's completely worth it. Highly recommended!

Good product and doesn't have the odor of regular self tanners, it has a vanilla scent. Works best if applied with a velvet mitt.

I am happy with this product. It seems to give me a natural tan look especially on my legs. I use it a couple of times a week. It is easy to apply and does not stain clothing.

This is the best self tanning lotion on the market. I have fair skin and it looks very natural. Easy to apply and smells great all day. Just make sure you wash your hands several times after applying.

Although I am light skinned it took more than one application to notice any difference in skin tone. Must apply more than 1x weekly to get desired results. Scent and application are great.

I bought this product based on other reviewers comments. However, it does not give you a quick tan in just one or two applications, and I have to use plastic gloves when applying it because I found that it stained the palms of my hands very quickly.
But, it has a nice fragrance and it doesn't turn you orange like many of the self-tanning lotions/gels. So, you have to balance the pros and cons on this one. The one big con is the price, and because of that, I wouldn't be able to recommend it to friends.

I've literally tried fourteen different self tanning products in my search to find the best --- the Xen-Tan is by far the best of all I tested. Friends have told me that they cannot tell that it is a fake tan. Unlike so many other products I tried, it creates a brown color --- not orange. The 8oz container costs [$] but I find that I need to use so little that it is actuallly not anymore expensive than any of the other premium products I tried. My search is finally over and I highly recommend this.

I use this product year round. It never streaks, easy to apply and smells great! I used to be afraid of self-tanners until I tried Xen-Tan. Best self tanner I have ever used. People ask if I've been in the sun it looks so natural.
