Absolutely one of my favorite beauty buys in years! This is the face tanner I have searched for but had all but given up on finding after buying and discarding so many others. Xen-Tan Luxe is amazing and has none of the drawbacks of the other facial self-tanners I have used. First off, no strange/funky smell, in fact, this smells fresh, light and pleasant! It is very smooth and not at all streaky when applying. I used this on clean, primed skin and waited the recommended 3 hours for it to develop, then washed my face and moisturized before bed. When I woke up the next morning - Wow! Perfect glowing color! Really, really natural but definitely noticeable, this gives none of the orange or muddy look that I have always gotten with other ST's. Another surprising aspect of this product is that it has evened up my complexion by toning down redness areas that I am prone to! I guess that is because of the olive undertone in it. (I use a green primer to cancel redness sometimes, but won't have to with this!) Love it! I am a religious St. Tropez user and even though I love ST, I thought I would give this a shot since I heard that a lot of people found it to have a very realistic color. I bought this along with the dark lotion and after I exfoliated and applied them, I woke up the next day looking like a pumpkin. I am not sure what kind of "olive color" this was suppose to be but my face was BRIGHT ORANGE and looked dirty (even after showering). My body was no better... absolutely terrible. I suppose I had to try and see for myself but I am going back to my St. Tropez mousse and lotion. Save yourself the money and buy something else! I am very fair and acne prone. Although this product did not cause any breakouts, the color was very very light on my face and faded extremely quickly. In addition, product started to turn green even though I hadn't been using it for very long. I compared the ingredients to the Xen Tan Deep Bronze Luxe (8 fluid oz. for body) and they appear to be the same. I think there are much better face tanners out there that are at a better price point than this one and I won't repurchase. Overall it is ok.. will probably continue to use becasue it does have a very natural olive brown color. I have olive skin & tan very easy... I need something that is darker. Was this review helpful? This product also is very natural looking -- not orange face! Plus the instant tanner gives you natural color quickly. You only have to use a little bit, and the color is very nice. The two tubes should last me until fall. Great product and great price.
