I use a full CPAP mask and usually sleep with my mouth open which causes severe dry mouth. These discs are amazing, they keep your mouth moist for several hours while sleeping. I was initially concerned about choking on them during the night but they stick to your gums securely. Occasionally I will awake before the disc has fully dissolved. I don't find this to be a problem, you can easily peel it off your gums, just do so slowly. The only con, for me, is the price which is why I only gave it four stars. I use two at a time, four most nights, which gets a bit pricey. Drugstore.com is the only place I have been able to find the 80 disc packages and they have the most competitive pricing. I am thankful to have found a product that works allowing me to sleep comfortably and will continue to order them despite the price.

A note to pet owners. Xylitol is toxic to dogs so you will want to treat the discs as
you would any other drug and keep them away from your pet.

This product works very well to moisten my mouth. Certain meds I take are causing dry mouth to the point that it hurts. First used this product overnight, awesome, no dry mouth in the morning.
Then I thought I would give it a try during the day, I was at a meeting and you can talk with it in your mouth and no one can tell. It easily sticks to your gum. The only down side is when it is almost dissolved the bit of tan backing doesn't dissolve as quickly and I feel the need to pick it off. That is something I did not experience overnight.

These Xylimelts were recommended by my dental hygienest for my dry mouth. They really work great. I mainly use them at night. I wear a CPAP and my dry mouth was horrible at night so these melts helped relieve it. You put them on your gums at the back of the mouth and hold them in place with your tongue until they stick. The Xylimelts begin to melt and relieve the dry mouth. You can use them anytime without speech being affected, you can even drink with them in. I think they must trigger saliva production as they melt.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that they are a little difficult to get to apply to your gums if your mouth isn't just right, or if your tongue moves the wrong way. Otherwise, they are great.
I really like shopping at Drugstore.com due to their quick shipments and they give % credit for use on future purchases.

Wish I didn't have to use anything but this product works better than any of the gels and mouthwashes that I have try. I only use one at night and it works great.

I don't know what I'd do without this product. I was having extreme dry mouth issues. I just stick one of these on the roof of my mouth every night, and I don't wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I'm in the middle of the desert. Very highly recommended.
