I used to use Burt's Bees, but my local drugstore started only carrying their SPF versions. Since I live in the very cloudy Seattle, and I can't stand how sunscreen makes my skin feel, I thought I'd try this day cream.
It's turned out to be great. First off, I have no idea what awful smell another reviewer complained about; I think it smells lovely, and not even very strongly. It goes on beautifully and leaves my skin very soft and smooth for the day. I will mention this: my skin often turns bright red for a few minutes after I put it on, and I've noticed the same effect with the eye cream. It freaked me out at first, and I almost discontinued using it. But the redness dies down, it's not at all painful, and afterwards my skin seems completely normal. Also, I've noticed that with continued use my skin seems to react less and less.
Overall, it's lovely. I have particularly dry skin, and I wouldn't mind if this was the teensiest bit heavier. But for the time being, this is going to be my day cream of choice.

I bought this for those days when I shower in the morning and don't plan on leaving so I'd rather not apply my SPF. I have te "Yes To Carrots" shampoo, conditioner, body wash, make up removing face wash and "Yes to Cucumbers" eye gel. I love this line and so does my super sensitive skin. I love the light smell of all of their products but this stuff smelled funny and was strong. Oh well. It works an the smell goes away once it is absorbed.

I have extra sensitive skin. My skin never used to be like this, however, after makeup all these years all the bad ingredients must have effected my ability to tolerate chemicals. I ONLY buy chemical free items now with NO parabens. This moisturizer is fantastic. I now have dry skin and couldn't find anything that really did the trick...well this does! I love this product.
