I drink a lot of tea but this one is my favorite and I always have to have it in stock. If you're not a fan of spice teas then you may not like this but the aroma of this tea is enough to make my mouth water and is what first got me to try it. I normally drink green and jasmine teas so didn't know I would like this one so much but it has a very soothing aroma and flavor and is definitely easy on the stomach. My favorite time to drink this is after a good workout. I don't notice any laxative type effects at all and I don't know if it's really been detoxing my system or not but i DO always feel great after this tea so maybe it IS cleansing.

I love tea... hot, no milk, no sweeteners... but I couldn't stomach this one. I didn't get through my first cup. I thought I could feel it working though, so I decided to give it another try. This morning, I brewed a cup and put it in the blender with ice, acai berry juice and a little OJ. It came out like a delightful fruit spritzer/smoothie. I drank the whole glass and within 2 hours had to RUN to the bathroom. The description says 'no harsh laxatives'... I'm not so sure. So 3 Stars 'cause the taste is harsh, but I will continue to use it.

I can't drink regular tea, so this is an excellent alternative. The shipping was free, it came to the house very quickly. I'm drinking some right now. Life is good!

I used this product no less than twice a day and it truly helped with my digestive system. I use to drink a fiber mixture but with this tea I no longer need the fiber mixture

Yogi DeTox is great. I drink it a few times a week late in the evening. It's non-caffeinated, spicy and very aromatic. It seems to settle me, my stomach and I feel fantastic in the morning.
(I gave this to my sister and she was afraid it would give her the runs, but this tea doesn't do that kind of elimination, so don't worry.)

I don't like pepper, even black pepper, so I didn't like this tea. I assume it does what it says. I feel better when I do a detox tea on a regular basis, but I probably won't choose this one much because of the taste.

ONE STAR reason: Shamelessly OVERPRICED. The tea contains all the right ingredients to improve digestion so I do not agree with their "purifier" claim. Go get the ingredients yourself and buy Lipton Yellow label tea bags (Indian stores or Online) and make it yourself. If you are paid more than $1 you are got ripped off.
The packaging is very appealing and that's the b**ch. As we all know packaging ultimately goes to trash so don't overpay for trash. Do it yourself and save money.

I would recommend the detox tea for those who meditate, take yoga classes, and looking to relax the body. It is a gently cleanse that helps release toxins and also leaves you feeling decongested.

I have been using this in conjunction with another product (supplement) for about 2 weeks. Between the two, I have been feeling better (less bloating, less tired). Not sure if it's the tea, the other product, or both or if it's a placebo effect. Effect or no, I still enjoy the taste of the tea. After reading other reviews, I thought it would be spicy like the Tazo Spiced Chai tea. This is so different. It's an herbal tea, so it has a different flavor than regular black or green teas, but I don't find it spicy, either. It is flavorful with a hint of sweetness. I work nights (12-hr shifts), so I don't want to drink caffeinated drinks in the morning when I have to take a nap in the afternoon before work, so this is perfect. No complaints about the product, but I did find it cheaper in my local grocery store, though.

If you like to detox yourself and not have to live in the restroom during that time, this is the product for you. I use it everyday for 3 to 4 weeks at a time, then I take a break for a couple months so my system doesn't have to rely on it. I am a daily tea drinker and I love the flavor of this. I drink 2 cups every morning before I exercise and just love it!!!
For the best tea infusion, pour 8 oz hot water over one Ginger tea bag and steep for 5 to 10 minutes. For a stronger effect, use 2 tea bags. Gently squeeze each tea bag to fully release the active ingredients. Drink 1-3 cups anytime during the day for rapid detoxification. No more than 10 tea bags should be consumed in a day.
