I bought 4 of these becasue I practice at least 5 times a week and I didnt' want to be doing laundry every day. Drugstore.com had the best price,[...] These towels are a good investment if you practice often and sweat a bunch. I find that they work best if you get them a little wet where your hands and feet are at the begining of the practice.

I do hot yoga at least 5 times a week. While this is a good towel, unless you get it wet prior to class it WILL slip on top of your mat. I have a different towel I prefer, but yogitoes is good enough to use as an alternate. It doesn't roll up easily in your mat, so it can add bulk to your gym/yoga bag. I find myself adjusting the towel frequently during class, which can take away from class.

I love the idea - it's so great not to have to lug a mat around New York City, and still be able to have your own clean practice surface. Unfortunately, I can't get a grip on it - hands or feet. I can't even do a warrior or triangle because my feet slip and before I know it, I'm in a split. My palms and soles don't sweat (though everything else does), so maybe that's why this doesn't work for me. Anyway, this is a big, expensive disappointment.

This is very useful for people that sweat like crazy when doing yoga. So for those who practice Bikram yoga, it would be a must. For me personally, I usually don't like to use it at the beginning because I don't have sweaty palms and feet. So it is actually a bit slippery for me at first. It needs moisture in order for you to get a good grip. I usually wait until I start to sweat quite a bit and then I will roll out the towel on top of the mat. Yogitoes has a bigger size mat towel which I like, but only has one color that looks like dark blue. The blue has a nice contrast color to the orange stitching edge. It is probably one of the most popular color. But the color will fade, wash after wash. You'll probably want to get more than one if you go to yoga frequently and like to wash the towel after every yoga workout.

I bought the Skidless Towel because I saw someone use it at our yoga class. It is skid less on the mat, but the surface is slippery at first until you start to sweat. It needs moisture to provide the grip. It is a nice product for hot yoga, but sooooo expensive. If you sweat when you do yoga, you should get this one. Much better than a regular towel.
