First of all, I have acne prone, oily skin. My acne is the worst on my chin and forehead. I have tried just about everything on my skin and never really found anything that I would buy more than once. This, however, has changed that. It honestly works better than anything else I have tried. It leaves my face feeling smooth and very clean. Within just a couple days, my breakouts are diminished.
I love it! I definitely recommend it to anyone that has oilier skin and moderate acne. It probably isn't too great if you have dry skin.

This wash left my skin smooth, but with a tight and itchy feeling. It was just too drying for me to use effectively. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, and think this wash is better for more moderate forms of acne with oily skin types. I like the fact there were less chemicals in the ingredient list than most other acne cleansers and the scent was neutral.

I wish they sold this in stores still!! I tried it as a last resort. I was definitely tired of spending [$] on facewash. It does dry up the skin with excessive use, but really it only needs to be used once a day. For extreme breakouts, try it 1-3 times a day and use a mild non-scented moisturizer if you get dried out like I did. This is honestly so great that if I have a crazy breakout, I can wash my face a few times with it throughout the day and it's gone within 24-48 hours. Please don't discontinue this!! This product is a LIFE SAVER for me, because I have adult acne and I am allergic to benzoil peroxide and also to glycerin. My husband has Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, so I have to use products that have no added fragrances. This is the ONLY acne cleanser I have found that suits my skin and does not cause my husband to react. (Those of you who are disappointed in this product's non-fragranced smell, just add some fragrance of your own! There is almost NOTHING for those of us who need fragrance-free cleansers, especially for those rare ones of us who are allergic to glycerin.) Since there are no deodorant soaps that are fragrance-free that don't set off my husband's MCS, I also use this product on my underarms and body areas that are prone to sweaty odor, and the anti-bacterial properties do control odor. Plus, it is so mild and hydrating that it does not irritate me anywhere. I beg Zapzyt NEVER to change the formula to this cleanser, please!!!

I've used this for years. It strips your face clean. Use the wash on entire face, then follow with moisturizer in cheeks forehead, not nose or chin. It saved me from having to use prescription meds for mild adult acne. It minimizes break out and cysts. Also the Zapzyt cream works well with it for on the spot problems. I highly recommend this for teens also.
