The dermatologsit recommended this to prevent sweating and cause rashes/yeast etc. It smells bad and mediciney because I'm told they would have to "add" perfume to cover the stink, and people don't want the allergy element of perfume. So, I use a talc aftwards to cover the stink (DO NOT use cornstrach powders, because cornstarch is a food and when sweaty, becomes yeast, and causes the infection & rashes).

I am a full-figured woman and I use this powder under my breasts to absorb moisture to prevent rashes. Works very well. I have also started walking an hour every other day. My arms naturally swing from side-to-side with this exercise. I noticed I developed painful chafing between my inner upper arm rubbing against the side of my rib cage. Using this powder helps reduce the friction.

It dries my sensitive skin a little too well, but I mix it with Baby Gold Bond 1/2 & 1/2 to cut the drying effect. I use under and around my womanly parts and being a plus size woman,I have a belly fold that this keeps nice and dry, daily.

I have been using this product for about 8 years now. My dermatologist recommended this brand to me after having cronic fungus.
Since using this product, I have never had a problem. I was told at various stores that the company was not making this powder anymore, but I did my homework and found that it has been repackaged. I can't tell you how awful it would be if this powder was discontinued.

Although the label warns about an ingredient causing cancer in California, I highly suggest that if you live in California, do not inhale the powder's mist after application. Or if you live elsewhere as I do, do not worry about the cancer causing effects as so many other things in our environment cause cancer too. Just know that this web site is the best place to get this larger size and at a great price. I date everything I use whenever I start using it. My last powder bottle lasted me (a large woman with lots of fat rolls and skin-to-skin rash areas) 13 months. The new bottle just got marked 13 Feb 11 so we shall see how long this one lasts. Local drugstore just carries the smaller size great for traveling but too expensive to justify space in suitcase. Suggest leaving a pair of shoes at home and packing this large bottle of super-duper-absorbing powder instead. You will thank me when the sunshine in Barbados causes a rash where nothing else will work or suffice. Trust me, you won't miss that pair of shoes. And hubby will appreciate your comfort and ease strolling along the beach.
