This used to be my favorite skin care product. But, in recent months, the ingredients have changed for the worse. The original product was labeled "Oil-Free" on the front. The new product is labeled "Paraben Free" and contains a different mix of ingredients if you compare the back label. I'm very disappointed in the change and won't buy the new product again. I hope Zia decides to bring back the original.

It is unclear why this product advertises that it is Oil Free. A few other products on Drugstore.com claim that they are Alcohol Free but carry an asterisk - the alcohols are non-drying. These marketing practices are disingenuous; a product should not be labeled Oil Free if it contains (as this one does) four types of oils - viz., Ylang Ylang Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Chamomile Essential Oil, and Cedar (Cedrus Atlantica) Oil. Nor should products be advertised as Alcohol Free when they contain alcohol. Drugstore.com should ensure that the brands it carries adhere to truthful marketing practices or else the site should provide some early guidance on whether manufacturer claims are correct. To punt the responsibility to the consumer, by requiring that he verify each claim against the listed ingredients, is unacceptable because it places the risk of loss on the consumer - that is, the risk that he might believe the claim and fail to check the ingredient list or that he might misidentify or fail to locate the offending ingredient upon an inspection of the list and suffer thereby. If the claim - "Oil Free" or "Alcohol Free" - is derived from an industry definition of what falls within an allowable claim, then Drugstore.com should provide information concerning the manufacturer's choice to label the product. This is especially important when an industry standard or practice runs counter to reasonable consumer expectations.

Ive tried many different face lotions/moisturizers including Lab Series, Nivea, L'oreal Men's Expert, Nutrogena Men etc.
This one is the best I've tried. It reduces razor burn better than any of the others.
The reviews that stated it was too greasy are probably using too much. A little goes a long way.
And the smell is a nice ...very unique smell. Plus you can't go wrong with the natural ingredients. Love it !!

This stuff really moisturizes. I love using this product. I wish it had a sunscreen in it.

It does its job well. However it did leave my face a little shinier than I'd like. I've tried many moisturizers and this one is up there for me.

This lotion did a good job of calming my razor burn, and moisturizing my face. However, I found the product takes a while to absorb, feels oily, and leaves my skin shiny. I'm going to stick with American Crew after shave lotion for now, even though I feel a very slight burn when its applied after shaving. AC does a great job with everything else and reduces shine.

I bought this product for my boyfriend to help with his skin after he shaves, and it really helped. I haven't seen a white or black head on his face in a while. This stuff really works, and it's inexpensive!

I've tried several brands of shaving lotions (e.g., Neutrogena, Nivea, Origins, H20), but I've been impressed the most by Zia's. This lotion does not irritate my skin, unlike the other brands, even when I knick it while shaving. Most important to me, it reduces post-shave redness significantly quicker and better than other brands. This is amazing stuff, particularly if you have sensitive skin.
