I have rosecea and combination skin. Zia does a great job with the oil and does not cause my rosecea to flare up. It also doesn't have a perfumy smell - which I really appreciate!

This cleanser really absorbs into your skin and doesn't strip away all its moisture for the sake of some harsh chemical 'clean feeling'. It's really improved my overall skin tone & texture. It's a fairly big bottle and (for Zia) extremely inexpensive. I would recommend this product to folks with sensitive/dry skin. It's probably a bit much for people with naturally oily skin.

I had been using Aveeno cleansers in the shower, but no matter how much lotion I put on, my face still felt dry. I switched to this cleanser, and to the whole Zia line, and what an improvement! My skin feels soft and supple, looks younger and feels so much better. Less red, less itchy, less flaky.

It feels a little funny since I'm used to a harsher cleanser -- like it's not all the way rinsed off, but my face is clean, and it doesn't dry out immediately after I get out of the shower, even if it takes a few minutes before I can put lotion on. Huge difference. I love it!

I have used this cleanser for several years and love it! It is gentle and I can even open my eyes while my face is all lathered up - it never bothers my eyes at all.

This cleanser definitely did not soothe! It created a burning/stinging sensation on my face. I do have sensitive skin but thought this would be safe due to its naturalness as well as no dyes, fragrances, parabens or other harsh ingredients, i.e. sulfates, etc. After doing a little research of cosmetic ingredients I found out that it has 3 potential skin irritants, sensitizers and/or allergens: Cetyl Alcohol can cause hives, Glyceryl Stearate may cause allergies & Phenoxyethanol (if not diluted to 2.2%) can irritate as well as sensitize the skin. It should be noted on product "NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SENSITIVE SKIN TYPES"!
