I have tried many hair removal and waxing products on the market and none of them even come close to Zip Wax. This product is truely PHENOMINAL!!!! It does not take a professional to use...ANYONE can use this wax!! It is very simple and if you use my tecnique, it'll be heated and ready to use in seconds! Ok, so my secret is that I went out a bought a small iron skillet (bought it at cracker barrel)...you drop the block of wax in (or break some off) and heat it on the stove...it'll be melted in seconds and ready to use! I have tried it on my upper lip, chin, side burns, toes, bikini and more and have always have perfect results...it removes every single hair! If you think about it, it is an awesome buy for only [$] a block when you compare the cost of sessions at the salon. I have had my upper lip waxed before at a salon and paid $15 for one waxing....with Zip Wax, I've been able to wax myself for only [$] and have waxed once a week for 6 months!! Great Deal? Of course, it was painful (it might just be because I'm a beginner) but it got the job done and I think most people would be able to handle the pain if you got smooth results. Comments about Zip Wax Hot Wax Hair Remover, 3 oz: Have used this product for years and love it. Works on my fine hair and my daughter's thick coarse hair. I place blocks in a metal 1C measuring cup and heat on the stove. After applying I tap until no longer sticky and pull off. Sometimes there are bits of wax left that is easily removed with baby oil. Since I have been using for over a year, I now only have to do my under arms every 4-5 months....this product rocks!!

It is not the same formula or they missed an ingredient. It does not melt smooth and it does not go on smoothly. It crumbles, will not adhere to the skin and is a nightmare. I've tried a few cold wax methods in the past, but they either didn't grab the hair or gave me a pimply rash for at least a week. Zip is my first try at how wax and I have to say it works great and did not give me a rash. I just had some minor redness at the follicle for approximately 12 hrs. A bonus is that the wax is reusable if you don't mind seeing hairs from the previous use.

It was more of a soft wax than a hard wax. I have stopped using Zip Wax and I'm now using GiGi products.

I am so glad I can still find Zip on Drug Store.com. I don't know why this product is no longer carried in CVS or other local stores here in Los Angeles. Zip is the best.
