I have tried many hair removal and waxing products on the market and none of them even come close to Zip Wax. This product is truely PHENOMINAL!!!! It does not take a professional to use...ANYONE can use this wax!! It is very simple and if you use my tecnique, it'll be heated and ready to use in seconds! Ok, so my secret is that I went out a bought a small iron skillet (bought it at cracker barrel)...you drop the block of wax in (or break some off) and heat it on the stove...it'll be melted in seconds and ready to use! I have tried it on my upper lip, chin, side burns, toes, bikini and more and have always have perfect results...it removes every single hair! If you think about it, it is an awesome buy for only [$] a block when you compare the cost of sessions at the salon. I have had my upper lip waxed before at a salon and paid $15 for one waxing....with Zip Wax, I've been able to wax myself for only [$] and have waxed once a week for 6 months!! Great Deal? I had never had a bikini wax, but I wanted to try it before going to a professional just because I have ultra sensitive skin. Anyway, I tried this and it worked really well. Of course, it was painful (it might just be because I'm a beginner) but it got the job done and I think most people would be able to handle the pain if you got smooth results. I am so glad I can still find Zip on Drug Store.com. I don't know why this product is no longer carried in CVS or other local stores here in Los Angeles. Zip is the best.

Comments about Zip Wax Hot Wax Hair Remover, 3 oz: I read about this product while browsing products on Drugstore.com. The reviews were so positive I decided to try it for myself. I followed the directions faithfully and had a perfect result. I set up a "double boiler" with a small saucepan and a heavy foil "cup" that set over the pan of water (and totally covered the opening at the top of the pan). The wax melts easily if you don't rush it. Follow the directions on application and removal. It is astounding how easy it is to use and how much hair it removes. This is much better than the creams that "melt" the hair on your lip and not much more trouble.

Comments about Zip Wax Hot Wax Hair Remover, 3 oz: Oh I had hopes that I would love this product, but who has the time to deal with the whole heating up process?? I barely have time to shave my legs, which is a good 2 minutes process...this just wasn't worth the effort involved at all. Maybe I'm just used to the wax strips and the convenience, but I don't see myself ever devoting a half hour or more to waxing my chin! The wax did seam to grab a good bit of hair, but the wax strips that I use do a fine job at that as well...and i'm done in 2 minutes tops!

Comments about Zip Wax Hot Wax Hair Remover, 3 oz: I use for facial hair removal and sometimes bikini line, although that's a little harder to do. I bought a small wax melting pot and that what works best for me. I do not care for the microwave wax; just doesn't seem to work as well. Have used this for years and love it. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get all hairs, but I have a few of those really coarse hairs. Any left after that will remove easily with tweezers. Hard to find in stores, so I sure hope they don't stop making this.
