Place bag in 5 Gallon bucket. Place turkey in bag and added two gallons of your favorite brine. Squeeze air out of bag then zip close shut. Soak 1 hour per pound.

I just wish these were really clear (they way they appear on the box). In reality, that are translucent light blue. . The double zip closing is not TOUGH and does need to be handled carefully or it can tear.

These Ziplocs work just exactly like the sandwich sized ones, creating an air-tight seal. We live in the humid south and use them to keep out moisture and bugs. VERY worth the price...and found that drugstore.com had the best deal. I ordered these XL bags as well as the XXL bags and found that I had more uses for the these (XL). The XXL came in handy too but they are truly HUGE!

WE LIVE IN ARIZONA....SCORPIONS....I STORED ALL MY LINENS, SHEETS, BLANKETS, PILLOWS AND COMFORTERS IN THESE. KEEPS THEM FRESH TOO. LOTS OF DUST IN THE DESERT

I'm sooo glad I discovered these! as a crafter I started using these for overflow yarn storage. now every time I have to ship out a prayer shawl or afghan it goes in to one of these before being boxed. I also use them for shipping books, paper, pretty much anything that is susceptible to water damage which translates to almost everything. I go through them so quickly one would think we ate them! great product that I will buy again & again.

These are a great design and very practical. I use them for sheet sets, comforters, magazines...the list is endless. I am not fond of the patch for writing but I am sure others will find it useful. Will definitely buy more!
