But for holding things that don't require that I would recommend this product. The plastic is sturdy and I had no problems using it. Because my house tends to have bugs get into the midst of everything packed, I was looking for something sealed. So in thinking that this product would be sealed when zipping it up, I bought two. I didn't happen to read the ONE comment on here that mentioned it had a good portion of mesh underneath the zipper. NOR did the packaging warn of it. So now I'm stuck with two of these things, with meshing around the zipper that's big enough to have bugs crawl through. There was NO reason for the mesh (and I wish they'd stop putting it on products you're supposed to store things away with). So WARNING: If you want to protect your clothes, bedding, and towels from insects, seasonal elements, and water, don't waste your money on this product. There is a mesh gap all around the top of the package cleverly designed to let moth larvae and dampness get into your stored linens. Very disappointed. Why oh why isn't it airtight? Pros

They are so much better than bulky plastic containers that you have to fiddle with to get the lid on, and much better than those bags you have to suck the air out of (you have to drag out the vacuum cleaner every time you want to remove something from them). They are extremely strong, sturdy and very well made. Zippers are of superior quality and side handles don't rip off. Being a pack rate of clothing, these storage bins are excellent! Pros

Also great for storing plush toys and out of season clothing like sweaters, etc. These bags are very sturdy yet flexible - I much prefer these to the space bags which I have also used and was not pleased with.
