When I know I need a quick lunch or supper I can take soup out the night before, thaw and heat up a healthy pot of soup. I have also frozen ground beef, turkey in them. I store everything in the freezer and refrigerator in them that I can fit in them! He has the hardshell older fashion lunch box, and these containers fit perfectly in it. They also hold the perfect portion. I have also used them in the freezer with great success.
