I use this product to seal the bags for freezer and kitchen shelf storage. It works great and is cheaper that the electric vacuum sealers. I like that it doesn't take up a lot of counter space, too. I wrap my product in plastic wrap first then put into bag and seal. This way the bags stay clean and I can reuse. I am a vegetarian so I don't seal any meats.

Very quick and convenient, and works great for storage in the refrigerator, but make sure it's got a really good seal. Does not stay sealed in the freezer no matter how hard I press on the ziploc to secure it. I'll continue to use a Rival or Foodsaver system for long-term and freezer storage.

This works great for taking fishing trips and sealing fish to take home with you. Some places charge $1.50 a pound to vacuum seal fish, but this is very inexpensive and works like a charm. Had Frozen fish in freezer for over 6 months which I brought back from Cabo and the Ziploc bags held the seal perfectly...

I work as a flight attendant so I need to pack my meal every 4 days. Unfortunately this product did not do what was suppose too.

I vacuum sealed dry good in mason jars by attaching a nozzle that fits this product and foodsaver's jar vacuum attachment. Voila! Freshness in jars without spending a fortune on vacuum sealers.

This is the cheapest, best vacuum system available today. It works brilliantly. I cannot believe anyone could give negative comments about a device that costs [$] that does the same job as devices that cost $00's Unbelievable

I used the Reynolds system which was outstanding. Since they discontinued the product and Ziploc came out with some similair I decided to try it. Of course for the price one cannot expect the same results as a 200.00 foodsaver, however the Reynolds system was quite useful and did a great job on frozen foods. The Ziploc bags are inferior, the seal does not work...liquids get "sucked" into the air pocket and don't seal and just doesn't work.

My husband and I have been contemplating buying a vacuum sealer for a long time and are so glad we held out for this! It is beyond simple and you can reuse the bags again and again. We are super happy with it! I have noticed that I have to redo the bags every couple days because they start to let a little air in but it's not that huge of a deal.
