Do not like this product. Very messy and sticky. Makes hair sticky and hard. The only good thing is that it repels lice but I wont buy this product again or recommend it.

My kids got lice and I had had this product in the house for a long time unused (my mom had given it to me and I don't normally put product in my kids' hair). I decided to use to to prevent re-infestation for them, and to prevent getting it myself. It smells good, is not sticky, and I really like how it holds my hair without feeling like I have anything in it. Only time will tell if it prevents lice (the only reason I did not give it a 5), but it's a little peace of mind that I am doing something preventative.
Apply gel evenly through wet or dry hair with hands, then style as desired using comb or brush. For added protection apply Zippity Doo's Shield Spray on all personal belongings.
