Warnings
For external use only. Do not apply to wounds or to damaged or irritated skin. When using this product: you may experience a burning sensation which is normal and related to the way the product works. With regular use, this sensation generally disappears within several days. Do not get it on mucous membranes, into eyes, or on contact lenses. If this occurs, rinse the affected area thoroughly with water. Do not apply immediately before or after activities such as bathing, swimming, sun bathing, or strenuous exercise. Do not apply heat to the treated areas immediately before or after use. Do not tightly wrap or bandage the treated area. Avoid inhaling airborne material from dried residue. This can result in coughing, sneezing, tearing, throat or respiratory irritation.
Stop use and ask a doctor if: condition worsens or does not improve after regular use, blistering occurs, difficulty breathing or swallowing occurs, or sever burning persists. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

This did help my husband's neuropathy. It took effect slowly but lasted longer. Need to apply with pad and wash hands immediately. Don't touch eyes. Very helpful. It was recommended by his podiatrist.

I agree with the previous review that this product is strong and can burn on cracked or sensitive skin. You may want to start with the .25% instead of the .75%. When I first tried it I had a problem with my asthma - but I have since learned that I was putting too much on and you also have to be careful to wash your hands completely before touching your nose or eyes and the same goes with touching the area you've applied it to after because it becomes a powdery film that stays on your fingers. A tiny amount (little pea) size goes a long way. I have arthritis in my hips and back - and this stuff really helps with the pain - but you have to apply it at least twice a day - every day - or the effect wears off. I use it in conjunction with the supplement "Arthritis Advantage" and it does bring relief.

I have tried so many products of this type, and the best I have found is jointflex as it does not burn. THIS product however burns! I used only a tiny amount and within minutes the burning started (amplify ben gay by a 100) and just got more and more intense. I was up all night with my skin on fire. Wish I could give it -5 stars!
