Indications
Temporarily relieves these symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies: runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, itching of the nose or throat.
Warnings
Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients or to an antihistamine containing hydroxyzine.
Ask a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease. Your doctor should determine if you need a different dose.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking tranquilizers or sedatives. When using this product: drowsiness may occur, avoid alcoholic drinks, alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness, be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery.
Stop use and ask a doctor if an allergic reaction to this product occurs. Seek medical help right away.
If pregnant or breast-feeding: If breast-feeding: not recommended. If pregnant: ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
MUCH better than Claritin. Works very quickly and relieves all symptoms. I don't usually write reviews, but these liquid gels are incredible. Worth the price. Skip eating out once a week just to buy these.

Great if you want to be sleepy all day!
It may have different effects for others, but Zyrtec made me incredibly drowsy and groggy all day -- and even after the 24-hour period, I still felt loopy. I went back to using Claritin (loratadine) which may not work as well for my allergy symptoms, but at least I could stay awake throughout the day.

I suddenly developed a bunch of severe allergies along with Solar Urticaria (Sunlight causes hives(not just itchy but burning) headache, nausia). The Allergist had recommended sunblock with zinc oxide, but after a couple years, that stopped working and I had to be covered from neck to ankle (really hot in summer!) and started spending my time indoors during the day. I was taking zyrtec tablets for seasonal allergies and accidentally bought these. Then I noticed that the sunlight wasn't causing problems at all. I spent all summer at the beach! It was amazing! I just hope it keeps working...

I walk outside daily for exercise and have severe allergies. I found that taking the gel helps with my outdoor allergies. I am sensitive to most medications that have side effects of sleepiness, but this does not appear to have this effect on me. I have taken the regular Zyrtec for about 3 years and the gel seems to work quickly and last longer. I am very satisfied with the results for my indoor & outdoor control of my allergies. I just recently suggested it to my husband. He was on the same allergy medicine for the last 8 years and he was constantly clearing his throat and had itchy eyes during allergy season. The gel stopped this after about 2-3 days. The reg Zyrtec would have taken about 1-2 weeks to build up in his system.
